Hi there! I’m Pete.

I’m an indie author from the south-east of England, currently working on a four book sci-fi series called, The Astrex Series, which follows the journey of a young woman named Kara, as she attempts to uncover the origins of the mysterious symbol on her wrist.

Unlike so many of my peers, who seemingly wrote their first novels at the age of four, writing was something I stumbled onto quite accidentally, and I didn’t write anything of substance until my mid twenties.

But now, I can confidently say that writing is something I’m very passionate about, and the journey I’ve been on over the past few years, from writing a truly awful first draft of my debut novel, to completing the second book in the series, and then going on to completely rewrite book 1, has been a whirlwind, but one I’ve enjoyed immensely.

Outside of my debut series, I’m currently in the early stages of planning a new fantasy series, which I’d describe as a cross between The Wheel of Time, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars.
